Today in Baidoa there is a conference with participation from female civil society groups, intellectuals, politicians and other members of the community in Bay, Bakool & Lower Shabelle.
This conference is supporting the Federal government’s decision to comply with the mass meetings going in Baidoa.
Different members and MP’s have said that they are supporting the government’s decision to allow the meetings in Baidoa.
The Somali government, especially the Ministry of Interior has announced their delight for supporting the formation of a new state for Bay, Bakool & Lower Shabelle.
