President Atambayev entrusted the mandate to SDPK faction to form a new coalition

Bishkek, March 20 / Kabar /. Today Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev met with leaders of parliament factions, the presidential press service reports.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Assylbek Jenbekov, Chief of the President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Narymbaev, the President discussed with leaders of factions the forming a new coalition of the parliamentary majority.

President Atambayev proposed the parliamentary faction of the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (SDPK ) to form a coalition of the parliamentary majority and no later than April 11, 2014 to nominate the candidate for the post of Prime Minister for consideration and approval by the Jogorku Kenesh, to determine the structure and composition of the new government.

Atambayev also recommended the SDPK faction in forming the coalition of the parliamentary majority and in concluding the coalition agreement to take account that the main task of all branches of government is to strengthen the statehood and implementation of the National Sustainable Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2013-2017.

He also recommended the parliamentary factions in forming a coalition of the parliamentary majority and concluding agreement to strictly observe the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

President Atambayev handed over the mandate to form a new coalition of the parliamentary majority to the SDPK faction leader Chynybay Tursunbekov.
