The ISIE announces the results of the legislative elections
Tunis, 30 October 2014 – The ISIE has announced this Thursday at 02.00 AM the preliminary election results for the 2014 legislative elections. The announcement has been made in presence of numerous media representatives and observers.
Based on the announced election results, the 217 seats at the Assembly of the People’s Representatives have been allocated as follows:
1 Nidaa Tounes 85
2 Ennahda 69
3 Free Patriotic Union 16
4 Popular Front 15
5 Afek Tounes 8
6 Others 24
Total: 217
Today’s announcement of the preliminary results for the legislative elections opens a three-day complaints period. In total, the judicial procedure will last 24 days. The preliminary legislative election results are now available at the ISIE website. The final results will be declared in the last week of November.
