Banda Aceh. Several civil society groups in Aceh have said Wednesday’s legislative elections in the semi-autonomous province were marred by incidences of violence and “money politics” — a frequently used synonym for vote buying. 

The Aceh Election Network — an umbrella organization consisting of non-government organizations and civil society groups including Acehnese Civil Society Task Force (ACSTF), Banda Aceh Legal Aid Foundation and Aceh Women Solidarity — issued statements criticizing Wednesday’s vote.

Dans un article publié sur le site du magazine français Télérama ce vendredi, il affirme avoir été interdit de réaliser un film sur la présidentielle du 17 avril. « Muni d’un visa de travail en bonne et due forme, il (Bruno Ulmer) est arrivé à Alger avant d’en repartir cinq jours plus tard, sans avoir pu rien filmer », raconte Télérama qui précise que le matériel du réalisateur a « été bloqué » à l’aéroport d’Alger.

Le porte-parole du gouvernement Nidhal Ouerfelli a nié dans la journée du vendredi 11 avril 2014 des démissions au sein du gouvernement. Il a par ailleurs souligné la solidarité des membres du gouvernement dans leur travail et à assurer les prochaines élections.

Jakarta. Mistakes in the distribution of ballots for Indonesia’s legislative elections have been found in at least 17 of the nation’s 34 provinces the General Elections Commission (KPU) said on Friday.
