A delegation of Libyan ministers headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs Al-Mahdi Hassan Muftah arrived in Cairo yesterday for meetings with Egyptian officials on ways to establish or strengthen state institutions in Libya.

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday warned that if the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government remains adamant about its demand for bio-metric systems, then the much-awaited local bodies’ elections will be delayed further.
The local bodies’ elections have been postponed time and time after again since 2009.
ECP expressed its reservations and said if K-P’s fresh legislation will be followed, then elections cannot be held till August/September of 2015.

The Serb Democratic Party, SDS, which came second in the elections in Republika Srpska last month, has offered cabinet positions to the Socialist Party, SP, in a bid to win its favours from the ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD.

Bosnia's two main Serbian and Croatian parties, the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD, and the Croatian Democratic Union, HDZ, agreed in Mostar to join entity and state-level governments together. They said they now seek a partner among the Bosniaks.
At a meeting on October 30 held in the HDZ's headquarters, SNSD president Milorad Dodik and the HDZ's Dragan Covic agreed on the formation of new governments and invited Bosnia's main Bosniak party, the Party of Democratic Action, SDA, and others, to join them.
The ISIE announces the results of the legislative elections
Tunis, 30 October 2014 – The ISIE has announced this Thursday at 02.00 AM the preliminary election results for the 2014 legislative elections. The announcement has been made in presence of numerous media representatives and observers.
Based on the announced election results, the 217 seats at the Assembly of the People’s Representatives have been allocated as follows:

3 Free Patriotic Union 16
4 Popular Front 15
5 Afek Tounes 8

L'ISIE a communiqué les résultats préliminaires des élections législatives dans la nuit du mercredi au jeudi 30 octobre.
Parmi les 217 élus, 68 sont des femmes contre 149 hommes, soit une représentation légèrement inférieure au tiers (31,3%).
35 ont été élues sur les listes de Nida Tounes, 27 Ennahdha, 2 UPL, 2 Front populaire, 1 Courant démocratique et 1 Courant de l'Amour.

Tunisian citizens are lining up at schools around the country to vote in the country’s second free elections in history.
