Avant d'entrer à la séance de Dialogue National, le Président de l'ISIE a déclaré sur nos ondes que l'organisation des élections présidentielles et législatives en parallèle  est possible. Chafik Sarsar a cependant déclaré que leur organisation au même moment posera différents problèmes.

Somalia's Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed presented the 2014 Work Plan to parliament on Saturday (May 3rd), outlining the ways the government intends to pursue its Vision 2016 goals.

The work plan includes blueprints for establishing inclusive political processes, justice reforms, economic recovery, enhancing social services delivery, mobilising domestic revenue and boosting capacity of government institutions.

Samir Taieb, porte parole du parti Al Massar et député à l’ANC a qualifié les déclarations de Brahim Gassas d’insolentes. Il  ajout que ce genre de comportement représente la contre révolution et qui s’oppose au parcours démocratique et progressiste de la Tunisie. Samir Taieb considère queue le président de l’Assemblée Nationale Constituante et sa première vice présidente auraient dû réagir à cette intervention.

Hamadi Jebali, ancien chef du gouvernement et démissionnaire du secrétariat général de mouvement Ennahdha indiqué dans une interview accorée au journal Acharq Al Awset qu’il annoncera bientôt s’il se présente ou pas aux élections présidentielles. Hamadi Jebali a en outre indiqué queue s’il se présente pour les élections présidentielles c’est en tant queue candidat indépendant et se retirera complètement d’Ennahdha. 

Hamadi Jebali considère que le contenu du procès verbal du poste de police de Kasserine, où un suspect accuse l’ancien premier ministre d’être impliqué dans une affaire de falsification de devises et blanchiment d’argent a une relation avec son éventuelle candidature aux présidentielles. Hamadi Jebali  a déclaré qu’il demandera de rencontrer le ministre de l’intérieur pour discuter de cette question. 

Current chairman of Felicity (Saadet) Party Mustafa Kamalak was re-elected at the party's 5th regular Congress May 4. Kamalak got 656 votes while his rival Fatih Erbakan, the son of the late party chairman and iconic politician Necmettin Erbakan, had 212 votes.
 
“We neither approve of covering up corruption, nor approve of the parallel structure in the state. No one can partner us with their sins,” Kamalak said May 4, addressing the Congress.

Kamalak said their struggle was not for the Prime Ministry post, but seeking rights for workers and the poor.

Details of a democratic autonomy project offered by pro-Kurdish politicians to settle the Kurdish issue are now being clarified, with politicians and academics affiliated with the People's Democracy Party (HDP) noting that the canton model emerging in the Kurdish region of Rojava in the north of Syria could be used as a model for Turkey as well.
