Une conférence qui ressemble plutôt à une riposte au mouvement contestataire qui a fait son apparition au sein du parti ces derniers mois. La sortie de Laenser intervient d’ailleurs quelques jours seulement après une conférence organisée par ledit mouvement dans un hôtel de la capitale.

La CUPAD (Convention pour l’Unité et l’Alternance Pacifique et Démocratique), qui regroupe trois partis d’opposition mauritaniens, a exprimé son refus de toute modification constitutionnelle relative au mandat présidentiel. 

La CUPAD a cité nommément les articles 26 et 28 de la Constitution (consultée par Alakhbar) qui fixent le mandat du Président de la République à "cinq ans", "rééligible une seule fois". La CUPAD a également cité l'article 29 qui exige au président élu de jurer par Allah de ne pas modifier les articles 26 et 28.

The Serb Democratic Party, SDS, chose Bosic to lead the party for another four years at its party congress on Sunday in Banja Luka. 

“We have to show that we have courage and that we can start the fight against corruption and crime which was carried out under the auspices of the political leadership of the current government in the [Serb-dominated entity of] Republika Srpska,” Bosic said in his address to the SDS congress.

“Changes are necessary and we will try to get even stronger through the selection of the new leadership,” he added.

La convergence pour l’unité, l’alternance pacifique et démocratique (CUPAD) qui regroupe les partis APP, El Wiam et Sawaba organisé une conférence de presse, lundi 11 mai a Nouakchott. Avant le passage de témoin à la présidence de la CUPAD de Messoud Ould Boulkheir à Boidiel Ould Hmoid, il a été lu une déclaration portant dialogue pouvoir-opposition. 

El golpista ex jefe del Estado Mayor turco y Presidente hasta 1989,Kenan Evren, ha muerto este sábado a los 97 años en Ankara, la capital de Turquía.

Evren será recordado por el brutal golpe de Estado de 1980, por el que cumplía cadena perpetua, en el que se ejecutó a cincuenta presos y se detuvo a medio millón de personas. También por haber fundado la Constitución que sigue vigente en Turquía y por propugnar una ideología política islamonacionalista viva hoy día.
