The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan strip factions of their power to appoint their protégé at post of heads of state agencies and state services, the Leader of Ar-Namys Felix Kulov said to 24.kg news agency.  

Bishkek, April 4 / Kabar/. President Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree appointing members of the new government.

Head of the President’s Office Daniyar Narymbaev read out the corresponding presidential decree at the cabinet meeting. 

“Djoomart Otorbaev has been appointed Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan," said Narymbaev. Also new government members have been introduced at the meeting.
From his part Djoomart Otorbaev congratulated the new members of the government and said that the main task of the Cabinet of Ministers is development and prosperity of Kyrgyzstan.

Ar-Namys parliamentary faction changed the membership in the Majority Coalition Council. The decision was made today at the session.

According to the Leader of the faction Felix Kulov, by statute of faction the rotation of office should be holding every half a year. "This time we suggest 5 deputies - Esengul Isakov, Eristina Kochkarova, Tursunbai Bakir uulu, Anvar Artykov and Zamir Bekboyev," he added.

The faction approved these candidacies.

Recall, the new coalition "For development of statehood" was formed; three factions joined it - Ar-Namys, Ata-Meken and SDPK.

The National Opposition Movement will have two chairmen, its Leader Ravshan Zheenbekov reported to 24.kg news agency today at the press conference.

According to him, Kamchybek Tashiev was appointed the second leader. Also the National Opposition Movement has presented their program of social and economic development of the country. The program consists of 5 planks.

Bishkek, April 2 / Kabar /. Today a coalition of parliamentary majority approved the draft program, the structure and composition of the government, represented by the candidate for the post of Prime Minister Joomart Otorbaev.

Leader of the SDPK faction Chynybay Tursunbekov explained that the document will be submitted for consideration to committees of the parliament and then forwarded for discussion at a plenary session of Parliament.

The new Government members are:

- Tayirbek Sarpashev – the First Deputy Prime Minister;

Deputies suggest holding public hearings on Kyrgyzstan's accession to Customs Union, the initiative was proposed by Ulukbek Kochkorov at session of the committee on economic and fiscal policy.

It was decided to invite specialists from all steering departments. "We don't understand what will be in Kyrgyzstan if we enter, and it is the main question among the population, we even don't know what to answer," he noted and added that developers of the road map themselves can't explain all advantages and disadvantages of entering the CU.

 Bishkek, March 31 / Kabar /. Signing of an agreement on forming a new coalition of the parliamentary majority is held in the Kyrgyz Parliament.

Thus, the new coalition includes of three factions - the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (SDPK), Ata-Meken and Ar-Namys. 

Two factions Respublika and Ata- Jurt will be in opposition.

Leader of the SDPK faction Chynybay Tursunbekov said that the process of forming a new alliance was difficult. "There were held many talks with leaders of all factions," said the MP.

On March 31 opposition plans to demand returning of the government to legalize national assembly and return to a presidential- parliamentary form of government. The former deputy Sadyr Zhaparov - one of the main organizers of the protest informed 24.kg news agency.

Bishkek, March 25 / Kabar /. Ata-Meken faction took a decision to join the coalition of the parliamentary majority. This decision was made today at a meeting of the faction.

The faction also decided to nominate Djoomart Otorbaev, the current acting First Deputy Prime Minister for the post of Prime Minister.
