  • Observations: Following its relative success in the Constituent Assembly elections in October 2011, the party's leader & founder Moncef Marzouki was named President of the Republic & stood down from his party role. After major leadership turmoil (and the departure of then general secretary Abderraouf Ayadi, Mohamed Abbou was elected general secretary in May 2012.
